Rocío Gil Robles

Rocío boasts over 20 years of professional experience as a solicitor. Prior to joining act legal Spain, she was a partner at Andersen Spain, a firm where she spent 17 years developing her career, as well as at Ceca Magán. In both roles, she led the criminal law & compliance departments and coordinated the legal and consultancy team.

Highly specialised in economic and employment criminal law, she advises individuals and corporate entities in the defence of their interests both in the pre-litigation phase, through the preparation of legal opinions and strategy design, and in contentious proceedings within the criminal jurisdiction. Her expertise in occupational risk prevention is noteworthy, with numerous interventions in workplace accidents in the construction and industrial sectors.

As a compliance expert, she has implemented numerous compliance programmes. She has also tailored adaptations to national requirements of programmes and policies of international companies operating in our country. With a decisive, agile, and focused vision, not only on protecting businesses but also on the added value of maintaining an ethical and transparent culture, she proactively collaborates with organisations in the bespoke design of policies, controls, and training and communication actions that assist them in achieving their compliance objectives in a dynamic and positive manner.

She also participates in the assistance with certifications, internal investigations within the business sphere, and the implementation and management of reporting channels that are proportionate and tailored to the needs and structure of each client.

Her collaboration as a lecturer in courses and seminars is frequent, also providing internal training to employees and board members in national and international companies.
