Background
With seven years of experience as a lawyer focused on intellectual property and new technologies, Blanca’s specialisations include copyright and industrial property, specifically in audiovisual law, music law, art law, advertising and media agencies, software, and image rights, and she has also worked in video games and eSports.
Blanca began her career in the collective rights management entity VEGAP (artists’ rights association) and made the leap to the law firms Écija, Baker & McKenzie, and MRG Abogados before joining Aledra.
She has had the opportunity to be a lecturer and assistant professor and to publish news articles and collaborative works in the fields of eSports and intellectual property.
Specialised in audiovisual law, among other industries, she has participated in a large number of domestic and international audiovisual productions, advising all industry agents to gain comprehensive knowledge of how the industry works.

Main areas of experience
In the audiovisual industry, Blanca has advised on the development, production, and exploitation of all kinds of audiovisual works (television programs, series, films, documentaries, biopics, short films, including fiction as well as the animation and entertainment genres).
Over the course of her career, she has had the opportunity to advise the majority of agents in the audiovisual industry, including major producers and VOD platforms (such as Netflix, HBO, Amazon, and Rakuten TV), local producers (Zeta Audiovisual, Zanskar Producciones, Fremantle, Cattleya, Señor Mono, Aliwood, Calle Cruzada, Caballo Films), distributors (Warner), and television channels (Mediaset). She has even advised authors, artists, and collaborators in audiovisual works (actors, directors, composers of soundtracks, and screenwriters), acquiring a comprehensive vision of the industry. In addition, she has participated in rate negotiations with collective management companies and IMEs (independent management entities like Unison).
In the field of music law, Blanca has advised various record labels and music publishing companies (Pool Notes) as well as groups of musicians in relation to their participation in festivals and concerts.
She has also participated in operations for consulting firms specialised in tax equity like ABT Spanishdesk.
Blanca has advised media and advertising agencies on their regular activities and as well as the negotiation of sponsorship contracts, advertising campaigns, and contracts with influencers (Dentsu Aegis Network, Omnicom). In terms of video games and eSports, she has collaborated on the creation, establishment, and negotiation of all kinds of agreements (sponsorship, players, collaborations) with Mad Lions, Team Queso, and FEJUVES.
Finally, she was an adviser for the immersive art exhibition ‘In Goya’, the first exhibition of its kind for the Spanish artist Francisco de Goya y Lucientes, produced by The Pool TM, and she collaborates on consultations for tech companies such as Facebook and Tik Tok.
