Cristina Alba
Background
Cristina has more than 20 years of experience as a tax lawyer, having spent her career at domestic (Roca Junyent) and international (Baker McKenzie and EY Abogados) law firms.
She stands out for her communication skills, practical focus, and above all, her broad knowledge of all areas of tax law. Her areas of specialisation include tax planning for international investments and restructuring operations, family businesses and large estates, reorganisation operations and private equity. In the real estate sector, she stands out for her knowledge of SOCIMI regulations.

Main areas of experience
Cristina continuously advises international funds on investment and divestment processes in Spain, and she has participated in major corporate reorganisations of multinationals with an impact in various jurisdictions.
In the business field, she has experience in family business succession planning as well as advising in private equity operations, fiscal due diligence processes, and purchase and sale transactions.
She has represented Spanish companies in inspection and tax procedures in Spain, Europe, and the United States (reimbursement of undue taxes paid and Mutual Agreement Procedures).
Cristina has acted in real estate transactions for international funds in Spain and for Spanish companies at home and abroad, participating in the creation of the first Bank Assets Fund by SAREB.
She also has experience advising on the establishment, going public, and everyday management of SOCIMIs.
