Background

From 2016 to 2019, she was Senior Legal Adviser in the legal department at MPM Corporation, providing legal advice on commercial and investment matters to foreign and local companies in the People’s Republic of China.

From 2013 until the end of 2014, she specialised in bankruptcy law at the firm Martínez Sanz Abogados, focusing on the processing and management of bankruptcy proceedings.

Main areas of experience

In the International Commercial Law Department, her main role is to coordinate the area specialised in business relations with companies, chambers of commerce, and consulates in the People’s Republic of China and the special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macao. She has therefore participated in a diverse range of matters, including the negotiation of international import and export contracts exclusively for companies in the tech and environmental sectors, the resolution of international disputes, the negotiation of agreements, the representation of Spanish clients in Chinese courts, and exequatur and enforcement procedures, among others.

Since International Law is a broad branch of law that coexists and merges with other areas of practice, she has collaborated with all of the teams at ALEDRA to generate synergies that ensure the achievement of clients’ objectives. She has thus acted in legal due diligence processes in international M&A operations involving the acquisition of assets in Spain and requiring strategic coordination with other law firms in Europe and China.

In the Corporate Law Department, particularly in internationalisation processes, she has advised foreign companies on the incorporation process in Spain and assisted international clients with the investment of digital assets in Spanish companies.

She has provided advising on International Inheritance Law and in and out-of-court advice for litigations, inheritance claims, division of inheritance, acceptance of inheritance under the benefit of inventory, and establishment and management of trusts.
